Netflix keeps pumping out movies (thankfully). Extinction is its next sci-fi action thriller, going live on the network July 27. It stars one of my favorite actors, Michael Pena (The Martian), as a family father who starts having some pretty dastardly, reoccurring dreams.
Naturally his dreams start to come true, a not-so-nice force begins to infiltrate the planet and mass destruction ensues. Cue humans fighting to survive. Aren’t we always? There is a twist though! This father has skills. He has a strength in him, buried deep, that he can tap into to help keep his family safe. You go Michael! Seriously, I love that guy.
