A special informational and inspiring film Shaman, Healer, Sage has been made available on DVD. The story of Alberto Villoldo, Ph. D. has come to home video showing the skills, psychology and understanding of a special healing process that stems from the medicine men all over the world including the Amazon and Inkas.
The film Shaman, Healer, Sage tells the story of Alberto Villolodo an extraordinary man who transitioned from a career in modern medical science to one possessing a deep knowledge and understanding of the ancient energy medicine of the legendary Inka and Q’ero Shamans of South America.
In a statement Villoldo sums up his thesis; “The healing practices I learned and refined with my Indian mentor are ancient technologies that create sacred spaces where miracles can happen”. The film was inspired by his book “How to Heal Yourself & Others Through the Energy Medicine of the Americas”.
The DVD explains: In 1973 Alberto Villoldo trained as a psychologist and medical anthropologist at the Psychosomatic Institute at San Francisco State University. He then traveled the world investigating how to create psychometric health. He concentrated on the Shaman healers in the Americas who specialized in treating illnesses before they manifest in the physical body. They did their work not in the body itself but the energy fields around it. Living with the Shaman Sages he experienced his own healing recapitulation.

Villoldo says that Shamanism is a perennial philosophy that’s found all around the world encompassing indigenous recent teachings and healing practices as well as rites of passage or initiations. Whether it is found in Asia, Australia or the Brazilian Amazon it shares a common body of knowledge. He goes on to explain that the body of knowledge originated in Africa and traveled with the first migrations out of Africa to the foothills of the Himalayas. It was eventually brought into Europe.
In his video he shows the healing rituals bodies in the world of spirits that he calls the ‘invisible world’. Learning from the Medicine Men of Peru he was able to grasp the knowledge, historical and spiritual essence of their healing techniques.
Villoldo explains: Shamans saw the energy field which he calls the luminous body in an information field. Within the luminous blueprint are signatures or imprints of trauma, stories of betrayal, abandonment and loss all stored in a holographic fashion. They are in the tides of life force swirling about in a luminous field creating dark heavy spots along the world of light energy. He goes on to say that the Shamans found they can clear these signatures from the luminous energy field and they could erase the blueprint. They then can reformat and update the quality of the information in a person’s DNA by changing the information in the luminous energy field.
The video goes over the methods used, the results he has obtained and a special one hour bonus feature showing an actual energetic demonstration on the techniques of the process of healing.
The film provides a lot of technical knowledge and shows how Alberto Villoldo chose to take this path in life. It also offers insight into this special kind of wisdom that he claims works on the patients he has treated with the process. While we do not support any claims within the video, our only purpose is to provide our readers with a just and informational review of the film.
