Putting a capital “A” in action, The Beekeeper takes you into a bang up revenge film that’s non-stop payday. When you say Jason Statham most action thriller fans know that he can deliver, and with this film he one-ups himself. The trailer is PG compared to this R rated hour and 45 minute story of mayhem of kick-ass thrills.
In the world of hitmen, the beekeeper is the leader of even the most vicious and relentless killers. Much like the beehive occupants everything revolves around the Queen Bee. But when she gets distressed, the honey starts to dwindle, the only thing left to keep the hive producing depends on the Keeper of bees that needs the production to be on target.

When things go awry due to the death of a close friend, Adam Clay (Jason Statham), a retired Beekeeper, finds himself on the hunt for a vicious internet scammer. Causing a wicked amount of chaos the US Government sends in their elite squad to take Clay down. When the US President starts cringing about her son’s involvement, only a person like Adam Clay can perform the impossible.
The past couple of years have been filled with action “impossible” including Fast X part one, MI Dead Reckoning part one, John Wick 4, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, The Equalizer 3, plus more. But, for this genre enough is not enough and Director David Ayer (Training Day, Suicide Squad, Fury) takes a stab at guiding one of the most iconic actors of the genre, Jason Statham. With Jason’s ability to become The Beekeeper, Ayer comes up a winner. Becoming in league with the likes of the explosive Michael Bay, Roland Emmerich, and James Cameron that know how to feed the eye of the camera, David Ayer depicts some of the most remarkable violent action sequences in The Beekeeper.

The Beekeeper has been rated R for strong violence throughout, pervasive language, some sexual references and drug use. The film is a must see for action and excitement seekers. Not for the faint of heart or squeamish the film gets a bit brutal and gory at times.
