John Delia, film editor and critic for ACED Magazine, was recently accepted into the prestigious Southeastern Film Critics Association (SEFCA). This organization is comprised of motion picture critics working in print, radio and online media.
The organization was formed in 1992, and has since given special recognition to the film industry by annually honoring the best achievements in cinema. The more than 40 journalists represent the Southeastern sector of the United States, which encompasses Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. The current president of the SEFCA is Philip Martin or the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette.
“Film criticism is important to everyone, as it not only describes the movie, but also lets you know whether it is right for you or your family. I like writing for ACED Magazine and providing reviews on a wide variety of film, TV, video and special interest subjects,” said Delia.
Congratulations to John! We at ACED are thrilled to be part of this esteemed Critics Association, and appreciate John’s unyielding efforts to give readers an honest, unbiased review of all things entertainment!
I write like I think—fast, curious, and a little feral. I chase the weird, the witty, and the why-is-this-happening-now. From AI meltdowns to fashion glow-ups, if it makes you raise an eyebrow or rethink your algorithm, I’m probably writing about it. Expect sharp takes, occasional sarcasm, and zero tolerance for boring content.
