“LEGO STAR WARS TERRIFYING TALES” Not Just for Kids

Luke Skywalker leads a battle in "Terrfying Tales" on Disney+

Animated LEGO films are fun to watch, especially if they have a good storyline that’s intriguing and sometimes comical. Disney+ has just released their newest LEGO Star Wars sequel “Terrifying Tales” just in time for the October crush of Halloween entertainment. This one is not just for kids, while it is directed toward youngsters, the adventure has a lot going for it aimed at all “Star Wars” fans.

In this “sequel”, Resistance fighter Poe Dameron and his trusty droid BB-8 have been forced to land there X-Wing on the planet Mustafar during a battle with the Empire. With damage to their X-Wing they recon and run into Graballa The Hutt who is working on the Castle Vader. It’s the Galaxy’s first all-inclusive Sith-inspired luxury theme resort. Wanting to find someone to fix his X-Wing, Graballa becomes his first test to getting off the Imperial planet.

Darth Vader’s assistant Vanee in “Terrfying Tales” on Disney+

So begins three tales of the Dark Side as Poe deals with Darth Vader’s assistant Vanee who tells Poe the story of “The Lost Boy” involving Luke Skywalker’s nephew Ben who wants to become a Jedi. Then there’s “The Dueling Monstrosities” with Obi-Wan Kenobi and the Saber of Scardont. In the Third tale called “The Wookies’s Paw”, Luke deals a special maneuver called ‘the 180 reverse proton move’. In this last chapter we find the Jedi battling with the Rebels against the Empire.

LEGO Star Wars Terrifying Tales opens October 1 on Disney+. Rated TV-G for kids, the animated action adventure should be fun for the whole family.
