In addition to unveiling their 4-track debut EP Candy Bar Creep Show exclusively through their Tumblr, the critically acclaimed and much buzzed about New York electro-pop duo MS MR have just dropped the Twin Shadow remix of their brilliant single “Hurricane”. Listen inside.
Each week, a new track will be revealed along with artwork, a video, and an official remix exclusively on MS MR’s Tumblr page. The band will also be posting the stems for each song on the site, and invite people to get involved by making their own remixes and submitting them back to MS MR. They will pick their favorites and include them in the official album campaign next year.
The original single and video for “Hurricane” was released a couple of months ago to much hype and praise and now the remix turns hauntingly dark pop into an even more trippy slide along the edges of MS MR’s strange and wonderful world. It’s amazing; with added vocals by Twin Shadow interweaving the female singer’s echoing alto. The track deserves a few listens. Seriously.
