The kids at South Park are at it again and this time they take on COVID-19 and the vaccine in their upside down world. Letting most of the usual characters have a piece of their rhetoric, the tongue in cheek animated TV show gets down to the nitty gritty early on and takes it to a level of “shame”. If you have seen any of the past Twenty-Four seasons, then you know what you’re in for and yes, you’ll get more of the same.

The main characters are 4th graders Cartman, Kyle, Kenny, Butters, and Stan. With the Pandemic still an issue they have been using their zoom to attend class most of the year. Cartman is a big fan of social distancing and he feels being home is a good thing and will do most anything to keep it that way. Randy, Stan’s dad is still running his Marijuana farm and has even decided to run a Pandemic sale. But, after a trip to China and the announcement the Pandemic started there, he has become concerned that he may be involved in more than Weed distribution.

Like previous seasons of South Park they use extreme vulgar language, obscene jokes and despicable violence. They take cheap shots, and are also crass, crude, gross, gruff, loutish, mean, off-color, offensive, raunchy, rude, smutty, tacky, and tasteless. I hope I didn’t leave anything out. Oh wait, in the two episodes there’s some bestiality, male genital, it gets militaristic, twists truths, spills a lot of blood, sex and are politically incorrect. But, if you like this kind of comedy, then rush out and get South Park: The Complete Twenty-Fourth Season on Blu-ray that contains both episodes that aired in the 2020-2021season.

The 24th Season on Blu-ray has been and contains most all the cautions that were listed in the previous paragraph. Be guarded when deciding to allow immature children see the film as it does have a lot of scenes that are inappropriate for adolescents.
