Esports Counter-Strike Championship Series Announces Top Teams

The Esports Championship Series, the revolutionary new esports initiative by FACEIT and Twitch, has revealed the powerhouse lineup of professional Counter-Strike: Global Offensive teams that will participate in the debut season of the Esports Championship Series (ECS) – Counter-Strike league.

Matches begin tomorrow, April 10, and will be shown exclusively on FACEIT’s official Twitch channel – Twitch.tv/FaceitTV.ECS – Counter-Strike is the flagship league of the Esports Championship Series and is the first professional esports league to offer teams co-ownership, like many traditional professional sports leagues. ECS – Counter-Strike will consist of 20 teams (10 from North America and 10 from Europe) with US$3.5M in payout for prize money and financial support.

Esports fans can find all things ECS on its new website, www.csgoleague.com , which launched today. On the website, fans will have access to the league’s schedule, more information on the teams, current standings and match scores, along with ECS match replays.
