If you are looking for a flick that will scare the hell out of you, check out Psycho Killer. The 2026 film is now in release on home video including Blu-ray and DVD. The script builds up a lot of serious bloody horror followed by a cat and mouse pursuit that pits beauty vs. ugly.
Highway Patrol officer Jane Archer (Georgina Campbell) takes to the road tracking down the psychotic killer dubbed the “Satanic Slasher” (James Preston Rogers) who killed her husband during a traffic stop she witnessed. Distraught over the loss, she takes chances that the notorious serial killer may be baiting her. When she dives deeper into his current victims’ files, she finds a clue that may put her closer to the butcher.

The performances by Georgina Campbell and James Preston Rogers make the film a battle of wits and punishment for both characters. Campbell makes her character decisive and explosive taking chances with the devil she is pursuing. Rogers pushes the envelope with his evil character leaving his gory victims behind and ramping up his devil eyes on Jane with brutal vengeance in mind. Director Gavin Polone works his actors into a frenzy pulling a few twists for the two characters to handle before a final war.

Psycho Killer has been rated R by the MPA for strong bloody violence, strong sexual content, graphic nudity, drug use and language. Caution: there’s full female nudity and a quick oral sex scene. If you can put up with this rating, it’s your kind of storyline. But, when you are home viewing it on Blu-ray, be cautious that immature occupants are not around.
