The mission gets even more difficult with heat coming from United States President, Alan Hunley (Alec Baldwin) and IMF secretary who are forced to allow CIA (Central Intelligence Agency) Head Erica Sloan (Angela Bassett) to install one of her agents into the task force. This agent, August Walker (Henry Cavill) who’s known as a CIA assassin, becomes Sloan’s eyes and ears so she can control the IMF.

After botching a job that caused the plutonium to be stolen, the team is instructed to track down, confine, and impersonate John Lark (Liang Yang), a known arms dealer. Thus begins a series of events that will shake the world, bring back a ghost from the past and reveal the true reason for agent Walker’s involvement.

Director and co-writer Christopher McQuarrie, who directed “MI: Rogue Nation”, ups his game with this episode. He delivers the action, the adventure, and the thrilling moments that make this series so successful and with a topper no one will expect. The spectacular stunts he has Cruise doing are jaw dropping. Especially the motorcycle chase, sky diving to his objective, hanging from a chopper, barely escaping explosions and many more that turn this film into a classic actioner. Several others get into the dangerous acts including Simon Pegg and Rebecca Ferguson in scenes that are close encounters with injury.

The 4K presentation of the film is outstanding when played with the proper 4K equipment. Brilliant in every detail, the widescreen makes a presentation beyond that of most smart TV’s. The sound is crystal clear using the English language presentation with Dolby Atmos and in some cases “blows the walls off” the living room. The Blu-ray presentation played on home screens gives a very good presentation and provides all the thrills and enjoyment as well.
