“Drivel” pays homage to the classic Nintendo sounds he heard as he played video games in his youth. It sets the tone for the electronic concept of the 9999 in 1 album, whose title depicts the random numbers on the plastic yellow cartridges of his first bootleg video games. Says Mord, “The album is a 8-bit homage I have for those games.”
