Some of us remember the original Poltergeist movie with fond, yet somewhat disturbing memories. Others will enjoy a whole new relaunch of this spooky series — only now it is even more disturbing with enhanced graphic effects and scarier scenes.
One of the enhanced features in this film is the dreaded, creepy killer clown. 20th Century Fox took it one step further with the My Idol app, creating a birthday video you won’t soon forget. Watch the Clown video on their Facebook page.
The My Idol app, created by Huanshi Ltd., allows users to take a selfie or upload a pre-existing photo to create a 3D, interactive avatar. The app is free to download on the App Store, and though it is in Chinese, it isn’t hard to navigate for anyone who doesn’t read Chinese. It is currently trending.
Keep an eye on Snap Chat, Fox will be releasing more content for the upcoming film there, out in theaters May 22.
