Going on tour and releasing a new video in support of their upcoming sophomore album Love Field (due out next February) dream-pop trio Love Inks are once again making their presence known. We’ve got the new video inside.
We remember well their debut album E.S.P.. It listened like a beat-heavy waking dream on a humid summer night. Singles “Blackeye” and “Too Wild” put them on the map, and we’ve a feeling the simple, straight-forward mellowed pop-y goodness of “Do You Wanna Fall In Love” will surely ingratiate them further to the masses.
Here’s the video:

It’s cute right? A “two people spy each other from across the room” premise never gets old. The song captures the angst of the first tingles of love brewing perfectly and then crashing and crashing, with such understated urgency.
We’re itching to see them at Brooklyn’s Glasslands Gallery this month. In addition, their playing Canada’s POP Montreal! and Austin’s Fun Fun Fun Fest.
