All I Want Is Kodaline

Kodaline is set to release their Love Like This EP in the US on July 16, 2013. Their powerful single “All I Want” is already available via digital download everywhere. This track was featured on BBC Radio 1 as DJ Fearne Cotton’s Record of the Week.

This Irish quartet has already released their album in the UK and Europe, receiving accolades from The Daily Telegraph, Guardian and Daily Star.

If that isn’t enough to convice you, they were also recently nominated for MTV UK’s Brand New: for 2013, as well as BBC’s Sound of 2013. “All I Want” was also a featured track on BBC Radio 1 DJ Fearne Cotton’s Record of the Week. In Ireland, both “All I Want” and “High Hopes” are certified gold and “High Hopes” was #1 on both the singles and airplay charts.

Kodaline hails from Dublin. All of the members have known each other since they were children. Steve Garrigan (lead vocals), Mark Prendergast (guitarist), Jason Boland (bassist) and Vinny May (drummer) create a haunting alternative sound that quickly becomes addictive.

Steve and Mark met at the age of seven in the school choir and forged a close musical bond learning to play guitar together, growing up just minutes apart. They encountered Vinny playing with another band in their early teens and quickly recognised his talents. Jason completed the line-up in 2011, and then Kodaline was born.

They will play at a number of festivals over the summer. And, once you’ve tastesd their EP, you can go back for seconds on October 8, 2013 when they release their full-length record, In a Perfect World.
