Buddy Indie Band Premieres Fault Lines Video

Buddy band released a new video recently for their song “Fault Lines” off their newly released album Last Call for the Quiet Life. You’ll find a lot of melodic tranquility paired with an up-beat indie pop vibe making up the music in this release. The video / song “Fault Lines” itself is about “secrets”, according to the band’s artist Buddy.

He says, “More specifically, secrets that you hide in order to avoid vulnerability and how complicated life can get as a result. Musically, we borrowed a cool ’60s Italian bass keyboard from a friend, and we wanted to try and come up with a groove on it to root the song around. We started to find a lot of simple melodies that worked well over it. As the song progresses, the melodies start to fold into each other until they reach a sort of blurred chaos, which we thought was a good match with the themes of the song.”

All of the songs on this new album are a depiction of Buddy’s transformation over the past few years. The album itself features guest vocals from artists such as Michelle Branch, Cary Brothers and Holly Conlan.
