Guardians of the Galaxy Speeds to DVD & Blu-ray

GuardiansOfTheGalaxy3DComboPack_smallOne of Marvel’s more non-tradition films representing their line of fantastical creations, Guardians of the Galaxy will be out on DVD and Blu-ray November 18. There are not many movies I can watch over and over again, but this movie does make my replay list! If you’d rather wait until it comes On Demand, you’ll be waiting a little longer — like December 9. Yea – that’s too long to wait…

This movie kicked butt at the box office, raking in over $645 million worldwide. It opened up this past August and broke records – being the biggest box office open of all time in the month of August. Not only that, this bad boy ranked the highest grossing film of the year as well.

If you were one of those that said, “Nah, this is just going to be another rendition of the same ‘ol Marvel movie formula” — well, you were wrong. You should give it a spin if you haven’t seen it already. If you have seen it, undoubtedly you’ll be lining up to grab the DVD release to watch it again.

Movie Synopsis: The Marvel Cinematic Universe expands into the cosmos when brash space adventurer Peter Quill (Chris Pratt) steals a coveted orb and becomes the object of a relentless bounty hunt. To evade his enemies, Quill forges an uneasy truce with Rocket, a gun-toting raccoon; Groot, a tree-like humanoid; the deadly assassin Gamora; and the revenge-driven Drax. But when Quill discovers the true power of the orb, he must rally his ragtag band of misfits for a desperate battle that will decide the fate of the galaxy. Featuring amazing new characters and exclusive bonus features, this must-own blockbuster will have you hooked on a feeling… of pure adrenaline!
