‘Back In Action’ Funny Family Fun

This good feeling action-adventure narrative brings you on a journey through the lives of two former Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) agents after their retirement. Now married and raising kids, these heroes have for years kept secrets of their past from their children, but now things begin to get harder as they start to suspect something about their parents. The young ones are now getting older, and they have begun the teenage rebellion phase making things harder for everyone.

These two former agents, Matt (Jamie Foxx), and Emily (Cameron Diaz), find their lives back in the fight when circumstances change forcing them to return into conflict. Will this be possible for them to keep this from Alice (McKenna Roberts), Emily and Matt’s teenage daughter, and Leo (Rylan Jackson), their younger son? As the journey brings them closer to danger, keeping the secret away from their children becomes overwhelmingly difficult for them to stay hidden.

While there were agents Matt and Emily, had a close relationship with Chuck (Kyle Chandler), the leader of their team. Chuck is the director of the team of agents that includes, both Matt and Emily when providing instruction and leadership for any of their secret projects. While on a job the relationship between Matt and Emily is revealed and they decide to go into hiding, where they fake their deaths to stay hidden, not only of the agency, but the villains they pursue. They even had to allow Ginny’s and Matt’s family to believe their death story, so they could have a normal life together and raise their kids without danger.

Now with their new life being revealed, they have to find and locate the missing information that they have hidden and locate and reveal it to the enemies to save the world. Having a bad relationship with her mother, Ginny (Glenn Close), Emily wonders why Matt wants for them to come out of hiding to reconnect with her. Leading them on a quest of discovery and reconnecting the family back together, avoiding danger and eventual discovery by the agency.

Director Seth Gordon develops a fun story with a great cast that involves a concealed past. Seth establishes the reason why this family keeps secrets and displays teenage drama successfully. As his family grows throughout their new journey, he initiates full of eventual discovery of their true identities using humor along with a gripping tale. Gordon also establishes good stunts and action scenes that include a tremendous performance from the cast.

Final Comment: I based my grade on entertaining execution from the performers as well as the enjoyable storyline.
