Normal is about to become a powder keg

Normal is about to become a powder kegHere is a fun example of Fargo meets Nobody, where a northern small-town personality meets the world of high-end crime and its aftermath. What lies beneath this village? How does it survive in an expensive society? This is a perfect example of what could happen, if the cost of the corporate way of life finally begins to destroy the townships of America.

When a Japanese mob boss has interest in a small town in Minnesota, he sends two of his one-time failures to protect something he finds important. Joe (Peter Shinkoda) and his partner are now posing as bank security guards to protect his boss’s assets and must attempt to keep things quiet. If anything were to go wrong, they must resolve it themselves, because contacting for backup would be another blunder and possible certain death for the both of them.

Here in Normal, Minnesota, Sheriff Ulysses (Bob Odenkirk) is the temporary sheriff covering for the locals after the death of former sheriff Gunderson. His job is to make sure everything goes smoothly as the residents elect a new leader to take over. Mayor Kibner (Henry Winkler), loves this new addition to his city and wants Ulysses to consider staying on permanently. Ulysses, now a stranger to these parts, meets some friendly new faces to help him during his visit. He partners up with Deputy Mike Nelson (Billy MacLellan), a Barney Fife type of character that helps with the comedy relief, and Deputy Blaine Anderson (Ryan Allen), who is hoping to become the people’s choice for sheriff.

This substitute officer, runs into some interesting people along his journey, the Normal bar owner, Moira (Lena Headey), who he finds interesting to spend time with, his neighbors at the motel, Lori (Reena Jolly), Keith (Brendan Fletcher), and their dog, and lastly the daughter of former Sheriff Gunderson, Alex (Jess McLeod). These fascinating personalities help unravel what is actually going on in this remote place in the middle of nowhere.Normal is about to become a powder keg

Using a similar track to the John Wick and Nobody series, it displays a splash of Fargo, gives you a lot of action and violence, with some northern personality traits. Director Ben Wheatley does not disappoint his audience and stays with the basic film format throughout the motion picture. Most will find this satisfactory, but others might be ready to move on from these types of adventures. Wheatley does put together excellent fighting scenes with lots of shooting, explosions, and bloody images. The make-up and special effects were outstanding and definitely makes the quest come to life for the viewers.

In today’s society violent movies attract more of an audience, especially when they include some comedy, along with combustible action, a little criminal involvement, and suspense. This escapade has it all, including many faces of death that will drive you through a conclusion that will literally go off with a bang. Normal is about to become a powder keg

Final Comment: I based my grade on the incredible combative segments that include explosive optical views and fantastic camera work.
